The Ensemble was formed in 2003 and all it’s members are graduates of the Royal College of Music who combine careers in chamber and orchestral music as well as education and outreach work.

The group was formed with the aim of exploring the repertoire for wind trio and is particularly interested in new music for the ensemble. As well as performing as chamber musicians, members of the group have played and toured with various orchestras and ensembles in the UK and Europe. The group performs together in recitals and functions and is also working towards projects in music outreach and education.

The group was previously awarded a scholarship place on a Tunnell Trust chamber music course in Strathgarry, where they gave several performances. Forthcoming engagements include recitals in London and the North of England as well as a tour in Scotland in early 2009.
